Married for 30 years and in business together for 28, Richard & Laura have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly side of couplepreneurship. They know firsthand how hard it can be to raise a family and grow a business at the same time, and how important (yet challenging) it is to prioritize your relationship through it all.
Within 5 years of working together, the two “hated each other,” and before long they lost the business and nearly lost their marriage. Then they decided to get intentional about building the life they actually wanted, and through counseling and a rededication of their lives to Christ, they found the passion, unity, and adventure they had been looking for.
Since that initial rough patch, Richard & Laura have started and grown multiple seven-figure businesses, launched two podcasts, and helped over a hundred couple-run businesses over the last four years. Their relationship is better than ever, and they’re ready to help you do the same!

why do we care so much
about helping couplepreneurs?
The fact is, over the last 30 years together, we’ve seen (and experienced!) every stage of the couplepreneur lifestyle: the start-ups, the struggles, the excitement, the failures, the passion, the near-divorce, the kids, the chaos, and everything in between. And what we’ve come to realize is: while you can’t completely eliminate the roller coaster that comes with couplepreneurship, having a coach or mentor certainly improves your chances of success—and makes the journey more enjoyable along the way!
- We love to see how lives are changed when couplepreneurs rediscover that boyfriend/girlfriend-like attraction.
- We love to see the magnetism and power that arises when couples start by defining what they want their lives to look like, then work on those goals together.
